Oven mitts are for the oven. You shouldn't have to keep a pair handy for the microwave as well. That's why we started making these microwavable bowl holders.

Our bowl holders are made of 100% cotton materials including the fabric, batting and thread, and are microwave safe. We have some that feature the same fabric on both sides, and some with different fabrics, making them reversible.

Each photo shows both sides of ONE bowl holder.

**CAUTION**
Do not use this product in the microwave without food.
Bowl holders should only be used in intervals of 1 minute, for 8 minutes maximum. (If you want to use them to microwave something for 8 minutes for example, you would stop every 60 seconds to open the microwave and check the contents.) Bowl holders should not be left unattended while in the microwave. Any food residue left on bowl holders may be flammable; always ensure bowl holders are clean before using in the microwave. Never use in a convection or microwave oven.
What makes these products microwave safe is that they are made of 100% cotton materials, no scrim, no plastic, no synthetic fibers of any kind. 100% cotton is safe to microwave, but is not fire retardant or flame proof.
